"Morning Has Broken" is a Christian hymn with lyrics written by English author Eleanor Farjeon and set to a Scottish Gaelic tune known as "Bunessan". It was first published in 1931 in a children's hymnal called "Children's Bells".

The hymn became widely known after it was recorded by folk singer Cat Stevens in 1971 and became a hit single, reaching the top 10 in several countries. The song celebrates the beauty of nature and the arrival of a new day, and is often played at weddings and funerals.
